A brief CV
Daniela Cecic holds a Degree in English Language and Literature and is CELTA and FTBE qualified. She holds a Master in Educational Processes and Psycopedagogy (ULPGC) and has completed her PhD in teaching and learning foreign languages (ULPGC) in 2015. She has also been MacMillan CLIL and Trinity College of London teacher trainer and coach. Daniela has worked at the ULPGC as a teacher trainer for primary and secondary school pre- service teacher as well as in UNIDAM where she is Director of the Master in Bilingual Education programme. She has participated at several international conferences about education with topics related to language learning, methodology, CLIL and motivation. She has been the director of an online course offered by the ULPGC since 2013- titled Introduction to CLIL and in 2021 presented neurodidactics applied to bilingualism one. She has been a member of MONCLIL project funded by the Spanish Government and lead by the University of Jaen, Spain as well as of PlayingCLIL project collaborating in the writing of PlayingCLIL manual within a European project. Her last KA2 project was related to Pupil´s Health and well- being co- writing materials and lessons plans for primary, secondary and university teachers. Right now, she is participating in the Articulan European Project which aims to set up a framework for artistic projects to offer children in CLIL and refugee classes the opportunity to create art. She is also a teacher trainer in CLIL for Richmond Santillana and for Consejería de Educación, Universidades, Cultura y Deportes Dirección General de Ordenación, Innovación y Calidad, the Canary Islands.
