A brief CV

Mr. José Ignacio Pérez Betancur holds a Major in Finances and Projects. Additionally, a Degree in International Business Manager and he is currently the International Affairs Leader of Escuela Superior Tecnológica de Artes Débora Arango in Medellin – Colombia, where he has had an important experience about international cooperation, mobility and internationalization of the curriculum.

Jose has participated in many international conferences and events about multicultural cooperation and the education process and he has also organized international events about research in arts.

Débora Arango: The impact to research and international influence in the artistic education

The Escuela Superior Tecnológica de Artes Débora Arango Institución Redefinida is a public institution of higher education of the Municipal order, with educational presence in the municipality of Envigado (near Medellín – Colombia).

Débora Arango has an academic offer on of training in higher education training in fifteen academic programs with qualified registration, articulated by propaedeutic cycles at the professional, technical and technological levels. Those programs are offered  in the following contexts: artistic, creative and cultural practices.

The school implements every semester a different type of project where the students generate several artistic products as a result of a research process and they invite many international experts who contribute to the research students´ processes.
