A brief CV
Bachelor in Spanish Philology (Complutense University of Madrid), in Translation and Interpreting (Comillas Pontificial University), and in Common Law (BPP Law School). She holds a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training (Universidad Pontificia Comillas) and is currently finishing her PhD in Bilingualism (University of Alcalá).
Eva Cano has developed her teaching activity in King’s College and in University Camilo José Cela, in the disciplines of EFL, Spanish language and literature, applied linguistics and foreign language didactics and methodology within the Faculties of Education and Communication. Her research areas include language teaching methodologies, CLIL, language transfer and early acquisition of foreign languages. Furthermore, she is an official DELE examiner accredited by the Cervantes Institute for all six CEFR levels.
Concerning her career as translator and interpreter, Eva Cano works as a sworn translator for the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, as literary translator for Anaya Infantil y Juvenil, and also collaborates as interpreter in several national and international law firms.
