Jesús M. Llamas Sevilla holds a Bachelor´s Degree in Psychology from Universidad de Murcia, where he also studied the first cycle of Bachelor´s Degree in Art History. He has three postgraduate courses: Master in Teaching Training from University of Murcia; University Expert in Emotional Intelligence from UNIR and Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Camilo José Cela University.

Regarding his professional experience, he has worked as Philosophy Teacher in several high schools, such as Escuela de Arte Fernando Estévez (Tenerife) or Francisco Salzillo High School (Murcia), where he currently manages the Educational Innovation Project Yo Enseño Español: difundiendo la lengua española en Europa in collaboration with Liceo Experimental de Heraklion (Crete). He has worked as internship tutor in Master in Education from University of Murcia and has been a member of the Spanish University Access Tests organization in the universities of Murcia and Cartagena.

He did his Master´s internships of Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language in the University of Kláipeda (Lithuania), where he taught Spanish. His final dissertation about Spanish interlanguage of native Lithuanian speakers was translated to Lithuanian language.

His current line of research is focused on Spanish interlanguages of native of eastern Baltic languages.
