 <\/p>\n

Ms. Linda Barker was a teacher in the UK for 12 years, before moving into \u2018Development Education\u2019 in 2000 so that she could grow her work and her passion for sustainable development, global justice, and international collaboration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She is focused on\u00a0 making the world a better place and her belief in the social purpose of education \u2013 the way to improve all lives, especially those whose lives are made difficult by social and global injustices.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Linda has contributed to\u00a0 many initiatives at Global Learning London over the past decade such as\u00a0 writing and edition school<\/span> resources<\/span><\/a>, providing <\/span>CPD training for teachers<\/span><\/a> and leading on projects, like\u00a0 <\/span>Shared Ground<\/span><\/a>, looking at the pertinent theme of Migration.\u00a0 She also works as an independent education consultant in the UK and abroad. \u00a0 In\u00a0 July this year, Linda took over as Director of The Global Learning Association.<\/span><\/p>\n
