Dr. V\u00edctor Huertas [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Biodata<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n V\u00edctor Huertas Mart\u00edn is a researcher in Literature, Drama and Film. Having developed his PhD dissertation on Shakespeare, Television and Film (UNED), he is currently dedicated to hybridity as vehicle to negotiate the oscillations between the languages of film and theatre on the TV screen. He has published a number of papers on Hamlet<\/em> and Macbeth<\/em> on the television screen. Apart from this, his interests are focused in the uses of transmedia, convergence culture and live cinema performance as means to translate theatre to the big and the small screens. Apart from this, his interests in the field of education are oriented to the application of literature, drama and cinema in the classroom. Thus, he has been writing about the use of creative writing to enhance linguistic skills in the bilingual classroom. At present, he is a lecturer at the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid. Apart from this, he has ample experience as an English teacher as well as a Literature teacher\u00a0in middle school as well as superior education. In addition, he has tought a number of subjects connected to Literature, Drama, Film, Culture and Education.\u00a0He has been lecturer at the Universidad Camilo Jos\u00e9 Cela, Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and CES Don Bosco. He has been trained as an actor and stage director and, apart from taking part in a series of stage productions, he has experience as a drama teacher.<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Resumen Ponencia<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In this workshop, we are going to carry out some collective research on the potentialities of drama as a vehicle for learning languages in all education stages. Generally regarded as a motivating activity and an ideal way to help the students gaining confidence in the foreign language, it is, nevertheless, challenging to explore the possibilities of drama meaningfully. In this workshop, at least, I will provide what can be considered as the three \u2018musts\u2019 in drama-based classes: preparatory stages, developmental stages and production stages.
