Socrative as an engagement tool in the bilingual higher education classroom
Large classroom learning is a reality in many universities and research into the efficacy has been ongoing to improve student engagement in the classroom. This is most noticeable among bilingual higher education classrooms where it seems there is a weaker student engagement, ineffective interactions and decreased depth of learning. At Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, some instructors encourage active engagement interventions that can increase students’ learning and personal development. In this session, we will investigate the use of the Exit Tickets survey on Socrative as a reflective tool to enhance the teaching-learning process in the bilingual higher education classroom.
